What we hold about you
- Your email address (sign-in and the emails described below).
- Your profile: goal, situation, obstacle, tone and length preference — and, only if you chose to share them, an age range and what grounds you (faith, philosophy, family).
- Your episodes: the script text and the audio generated from your profile.
- Your check-ins and notes, if you use them.
- Subscription status from Stripe. We never see your card number.
- Minimal technical telemetry: when your feed was last fetched and when episode audio was last downloaded. No ad tracking, no analytics cookies — the only cookie is your sign-in session.
The sensitive part, plainly
What you write about your obstacle, and anything you share about your beliefs or health, can be special-category data under GDPR article 9. We process it only because you expressly consented in onboarding, and only to write your episodes. You can withdraw that consent at any moment by editing your profile or deleting your account — deletion removes the profile, every script and every audio file immediately.
Who processes it for us
- Anthropic — the AI model that writes your episode scripts (processing may occur in the US under standard contractual clauses).
- Google Cloud — hosting, text-to-speech and audio storage (EU region), and Google sign-in if you use it.
- Stripe — payments.
- Google Workspace — delivery of the emails described below.
We do not sell or share your data with anyone else, for any purpose.
Emails we send
Sign-in links, a welcome email with your private feed URL, a notice when your free episodes end, and subscription receipts or payment-failure notices. All of it is service email tied to your account — there is no marketing list.
Retention
We keep your data for as long as you keep your account. Delete the account and everything — profile, scripts, audio, feed — is removed at once; only accounting records that the law requires us to keep (payment records) survive.
Your rights
- See and take your data: your dashboard → “Download your data” gives you everything as JSON (articles 15/20).
- Fix it: edit your profile at any time.
- Erase it: delete your account from the dashboard.
- Withdraw consent: same two paths, any time.
- Complain: Datatilsynet (the Norwegian DPA) at datatilsynet.no, or your local authority.
